Approved Khalid Abdul Aziz, Minister of Youth and Sports to spend the amount of 22 million pounds to support the preparations for the sports federations for Olympic Games to Rio de Janeiro, which will be held next summer.

The minister held a meeting with the Olympic Committee for the preparation of qualified players for the Olympics, on Tuesday evening at a meeting of the Egyptian Olympic Committee board of directors.
The meeting dealt plans for camps and some sports federations to prepare players including unions and Altaikndo volleyball, archery, badminton, weightlifting and boxing.
The minister agreed with the heads of sports federations to spend the amount of money required from the ministry during the next week to start immediate implementation of the plans for the preparation of the players who qualified for the Olympics, Rio de Janeiro.
He called Abdul Aziz, all the heads of sports federations to do everything in their power to implement the players Egypt training plans in preparation for a gold, silver and bronze medals at the Olympics, Rio de Janeiro, demanding to benefit from the development that the right of the Olympic Center in Maadi and establish training camps for players in their individual and collective games.
